A 6th Special Operations Squadron UH-1N Huey helicopter flies the pattern at Hurlburt Field, Fla. The 6th SOS is the only unit in the Department of Defense to perform the aviation foreign internal defense mission. Combat aviation FID advisors at the 6th advise, train and assist friendly nations in their organic aircraft. As such, 6th SOS Air Commandos operate aircraft commonly found in foreign air forces. Airman 1st Class Travis Dalton provides security for an MH-53 Pave Low helicopter during an exercise on 22 Feb. Airman Dalton is a combat controller in the Advanced Skills Training Program at Hurlburt Field, Fla. The exercise was filmed for the next series of Air Force commercials. Theme of the commercials will be "Do something amazing." The film crew also shot footage of AC-130U Spooky gunship, Combat Control Team and MC-130 Combat Talon operations, as well as a Special Tactics High Altitude Low Opening parachute jump during their visit to Hurlburt.
