Operation Blood Rain

A box containing blood bags is opened to check for damage after being released from an aircraft for a study called Operation Blood Rain April 20 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Bags of fresh blood were placed into a secure cooler then dropped out of an aircraft flying at a low level. The study was to see if the blood would be damaged in any way from the drop.
