Chief Master Sergeant ANTHONY W. GREEN

Chief Master Sergeant Anthony Green is the Command Chief Master Sergeant at Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, FL. The command is a major command of the U.S. Air Force and the Air Force component to U.S. Special Operations Command. The command has approximately 21,000 Total Force Airmen across ten operational Wings and two Special Operations Groups.  Chief Green advises the Commander on the readiness, training, education, and resiliency of the enlisted force.  He has held leadership positions at the Squadron, Group, Wing, Major Command and Combatant Command levels

Chief Green entered the Air Force in September 1995. His background includes positions as an instructor and maintenance technician on the C-130 and various other non-standard aircraft. Throughout his career he has filled numerous roles including Flying Crew Chief, Combat Aviation Advisor, Maintenance Superintendent, and Senior Enlisted Advisor. His assignments include North Carolina, Germany, Florida, Delaware, New Jersey, and various other locations. Chief Green has taken part in multiple humanitarian operations and has deployed in support of numerous contingency and combat operations in Africa, Balkans, Southwest Asia, Middle East, and the Pacific regions.
