Eagle Claw memorial ceremony
Retired Colonel Roland Guidry, former 8th Special Operations Squadron commander, talks about Operation Eagle Claw and the Airmen who made it possible during a memorial ceremony April 29. Operation Eagle Claw, conducted April 24, 1980, was a complex mission to rescue U.S. citizens taken hostage in the U.S. embassy in Iran.
