HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. --

U.S. Air Force Gen. Paul J. Selva, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, visited Hurlburt for an Air Force Special Operations Command immersion July 16-17. The immersion involved tours of AFSOC CV-22 aircraft, Special Tactics’ facilities, and a demonstration of AFSOC’s dive capabilities. Selva also received briefings from AFSOC leadership and spoke with Airmen, learning more about the unique capabilities of Air Commandos, AFSOC’s mission and its strategic value to the Air Force.
