A crew from ESPN's show, Sportscenter, arrived at Hurlburt Field to cover the 2010 Miami HEAT Training Camp Sep. 27.

Not only did the on-screen personalities do their job of broadcasting from Hurlburt Field, but they also got a taste of the things Hurlburt Airmen do.

"It's been terrific being out here--You guys are the real deal," said Jon Barry, National Basketball Association veteran and current ESPN host. "The HEAT's training camp is only a few weeks, but Airmen are out here training every day."

When the broadcasters were on break, they didn't just sit around and relax.

One host even volunteered to go through the Tactical Air Control Party obstacle course.

Wanting to get the full Air Force special tactics feeling, NBA veteran and ESPN basketball analyst Jalen Rose, went through a 20-part obstacle course, designed for TACP students.

"I've always appreciated the sacrifice and dedication to service our military has made," said Mr. Rose. "But just going through half of their obstacle course, I have a new respect of the training the Air Force gets."
