CMSAF coming to Hurlburt Field Published Sept. 16, 2009 By Tech. Sgt. Angela Shepherd 1st SOW Public Affairs HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James Roy will spend a few days at Hurlburt Field next week to get to know the Airmen of the 1st Special Operations Wing and Air Force Special Operations Command and to give them a chance to bring their concerns to light. Chief Roy's tour around the base will take him to several squadrons and facilities and give him the opportunity to interact with a lot of the base's Airmen. He won't be able to visit every single office on base though, so he will hold an enlisted call to give everyone a forum to have their voices heard. The enlisted call, during which Chief Roy will address the Airmen and then hold a question and answer session, will begin at 9 a.m. Sept. 22 at Freedom Hangar. Because of limited parking around the hangar, buses will be available to shuttle people to the event from 7:30-8:40 a.m. Pick up spots will be located at the base exchange, the chapel and the mini-mall.
