AC-119 Gunship Association donates lithographs to Teresa Village
Lt. Col. Donald Peck, 18th Flight Test Squadron commander, and Garrettson "Garry" Gourley, retired U.S. Air Force flight engineer, flank a lithograph donated to Teresa Village during a ceremony there on July 8. The original painting, by Darby Perrin, titled "Rolling In," depicts an AC-119G Shadow attacking a Viet Cong stronghold during the Viet Nam War. Gourley, a resident of Teresa Village, one of three Air Force Enlisted Village sites, was a member of the 17th Special Operations Squadron, which flew the AC-119G. The 18th FLTS has a direct lineage to the 17th SOS, and Colonel Peck took a special interest in the AC-119 gunship and its history. (U.S. Air Photo by Master Sgt. Buffy Galbraith)
