AFSOC financial managers dominate 2007 USSOCOM Financial Management Awards

HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. --  Air Force Special Operations Financial Managers dominated the 2007 USSOCOM Financial Management Awards, taking home nine of 14 categories.

However, this is nothing new for the command.

"Over the past six years, AFSOC has won 50 awards out of 70 nominations," said Bill Rone, Headquarters AFSOC financial manager. "A highlight this year is the Headquarters AFSOC financial management office winning the component-level Outstanding Financial Management Organization award for the fifth year in a row."
