They are: Airman of the Year: Senior Airman Mathew Busman, 16th Special Operations Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Fla. Noncommissioned Officer of the Year: Tech Sgt. Bradley Reilly, 720th Special Tactics Group, Hurlburt Field, Fla. Senior NCO of the Year: Master Sgt. James Lackey, 352d Special Operations Group, RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom First Sergeant of the Year: Master Sgt. Steven Hoshaw, 353d SOG, Kadena AB, Japan Company Grade Officer of the Year: Capt. James Alexander, 21st Special Tactics Squadron, Pope Air Force Base, N.C. GS 1-8 Civilian of the Year: Mr. Aaron Grindland, 16th Civil Engineering Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Fla. GS 9-12 Civilian of the Year: Mr. Robert Cohn, 16th Medical Group, Hurlburt Field, Fla. WG/WL/WS Civilian of the Year: Mr. David Smart, 16th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Fla. Individual Mobilization Augmentees AFSOC Outstanding Officer IMA of the Year: Capt Paul Chapelle, 16th Security Forces Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Fla. AFSOC Outstanding Enlisted IMA of the Year: Senior Master Sgt. Bartholomew Gunderman, 16th SFS, Hurlburt Field, Fla. The winners will be hosted by AFSOC for a week of recognition activities beginning May 1. Activities include a recognition event at the Soundside Club May 1, at 3 p.m.; tours of the base, Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, Fla., and events sponsored by the Hurlburt Field Chief and First Sergeant’s groups. The culmination of the weekly activities will be the Outstanding Airmen of the Year banquet held at the Emerald Coast Convention Center May 5.
