Defense Environmental Awards Announced Published March 17, 2006 By AFSOC News Service Air Force Special Operations Command Public Affairs HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- Two Air Force Special Operations units garnered honorable mentions in 2005 Defense Department-level environmental awards. Hurlburt Field and the 347th Civil Engineer Squadron at Moody AFB, Ga., were both honored in the Natural Resources Conservation categories. Hurlburt was honored in the small installation category and the Moody unit was honored in the team/individual category.
