Two Air Commandos will represent the command in national-level award programs, officials announced May 29.

Capt. Greggory Lamb, 319th Special Operations Squadron, will compete in the 2015 U.S. Air Force Alison Award for Character and Innovation. Tech. Sgt. Davina Tunstall, 524th SOS, is the nominee to the 2015 National Image, Inc. Meritorious Service Award.

Lamb, a pilot and squadron chief of safety, is stationed at Hurlburt Field. His award is sponsored by the Falcon Foundation in support of the U.S. Air Force Academy and recognizes one commissioned officer of demonstrated outstanding character and innovation in a single act or a series of related events.

Tunstall is NCO in charge of squadron aviation resource management at her post on Cannon Air Force Base, N.M. The meritorious service award recognizes military and civilian members who have distinguished themselves by promoting the tenets of civil and human rights, race relations, equal opportunity, affirmative action, human relations and/or public service.
