AFSOC nominates TACP for JINSA award Published Aug. 10, 2015 HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- A senior NCO assigned to Fort Benning, Ga., is Air Force Special Operations Command’s nominee for the 2015 Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs Grateful Nation award.Master Sgt. Peter Davey Jr., 17th Special Tactics Squadron tactical air control party flight chief, received the Bronze Star Medal for his efforts in Afghanistan. He will represent AFSOC at the United States Special Operations Command-level competition.JINSA was founded in 1976 as a non-profit, non-partisan organization to advocate on behalf of a strong U.S. military, a robust national security policy, and a strong U.S. relationship with Israel and other like-minded democracies.The organization honors individuals who have distinguished themselves through superior service since the beginning of overseas contingency operations.
