U.S. MC-130J Commando IIs from the 352nd Special Operations Wing completed a combined exfiltration exercise during Trident Juncture, Nov. 2, 2015. The exercise involved U.S. and Spanish Air Commandos completing a rapid exfiltration from a remote airfield under simulated fire. Throughout the largest NATO exercise conducted for over 20 years, crews from various platforms and nations worked together toward a common goal.

U.S. Special Operations Command Europe augmented by nearly 60 personnel from 17 NATO and European partner nations participated in the exercise to certify SOCEUR as the Special Operations Component Command for the NATO Response Force 2016 and to test the NRF's air, sea, land and Special Forces capabilities.
