AFSOC announces 12 annual award winners Published March 31, 2016 AFSOC Public Affairs HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- Air Force Special Operations Command officials named 12 military and civilian Airmen as its 2015 annual award winners. These individuals represent the all-around winners for their respective classifications as decided by panels of judges. The 12 selectees will be formally recognized at a week-long tour at Hurlburt Field, culminating May 19 with a banquet here. The winners are: Company Grade Officer: Capt. Daniel J. Breiding, 320th Special Tactics Squadron, Kadena AB, Japan. First Sergeant: Master Sgt. Lucas Levesque, 901st Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Hurlburt Field Senior NCO: Master Sgt. Marcus Mader, Special Tactics Training Squadron, Hurlburt Field NCO: Tech. Sgt. James Walker II, Air Force Special Operations Air Warfare Center, Hurlburt Field Airman: Senior Airman Kenneth Cox, 11th Intelligence Squadron, Hurlburt Field Category III civilian: Rene Sanchez, 1st Special Operations Maintenance Group, Hurlburt Field Category II civilian: Thomas Jones, AFSOC Logistics Directorate, Hurlburt Field Category I civilian: Antoinette Nelson, 27th Special Operations Medical Support Squadron, Cannon AFB, New Mexico Individual Mobilization Augmentee Officer: Maj. Martie Fredericks-Lenhart, AFSOC Operations Center, Hurlburt Field IMA Enlisted: Master Sgt. Patrick Gibson, USAF Special Operations School, Hurlburt Field Base Honor Guard Manager: Tech. Sgt. Ronald Donnell Jr., 1st Special Operations Force Support Squadron, Hurlburt Field Base Honor Guard Member: Senior Airman Travis Boley, 1st SOFSS Three Air Commandos – Mader, Walker and Cox -- will compete as command nominees to the Air Force 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year selection panel.
