HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- Lt. Gen. Maxwell C. Bailey, commander of Air Force Special Operations Command, pins on a Purple Heart to Air Force Staff Sgt. Mike, an Air Force Special Operations Command combat controller, for injuries received in Operation Enduring Freedom combat. Mike from the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron at Hurlburt Field was among five U.S. Special Operators injured during combat actions at Mazar-e-Sharif, in northern Afghanistan, Nov. 26, 2001.
