A portrait of Lt. Col. John Darin Loftis was unveiled at the dedication of the USAF Special Operations School Loftis auditorium Feb. 25, 2013. Loftis was was shot and killed by an Afghan on Feb. 25, 2012 in the Interior Ministry in Kabul, Afghanistan while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
