1st SOMDG awards first OIF Bronze Star

Col. David Rhodes, 1st Special Operations Medical Group commander, presented Lt. Col. Cheryl Scaglione a Bronze Star Nov. 5 for her actions as the officer-in-charge of the 732nd Expeditionary Support Squadron’s combat stress control clinics in Iraq. Colonel Scaglione is the first member of the 1st SOMDG, officer or enlisted, to receive the Bronze Star in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
