CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- David Lee, left, and Todd Richardson take measurements in a hangar at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., during tests to determine the suitability of the base?s hangars to support the CV-22 Osprey. The men, who provide contract support for the CV-22 program, work for the Boeing Corp. at Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. Cannon AFB will be transferred from Air Combat Command to Air Force Special Operations Command on Oct. 1. Ospreys are among the special operations aircraft to be assigned to the 27th Special Operations Wing at Cannon.
