SOG Airmen continue supporting Indonesian relief efforts
TABING AIRFIELD, Indonesia -- A combat controller from the 353rd Special Operations Group, points in the direction of an incoming aircraft he's guiding to land here Oct. 4. U.S. and Indonesian military officials surveyed and opened the closed airfield to support humanitarian relief operations near Padang in western Indonesia.
