HURLBURT FIELD, Fla.-- Several bears once again paid a visit to Hurlburt Field Sept. 21. The bear's visit should serve as a reminder of the importance of taking preventive measures to ensure that humans and bears maintain a peaceful coexistence. Use caution when having food outside, whether it be in trash cans, pet food bowls, or other areas. Doing so will greatly lessen the chance of an up close encounter with a part of nature. This "bear aware" tip is courtesy of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. For additional bear information, please see the "Be Bear Aware" section on the Hurlburt Field Web site, www.hurlburt.af.mil. (photo courtesy of Kristal Walsh)
