6th SOS Huey

A 6th Special Operations Squadron UH-1N Huey helicopter flies the pattern at Hurlburt Field, Fla. The 6th SOS is the only unit in the Department of Defense to perform the aviation foreign internal defense mission. Combat aviation FID advisors at the 6th advise, train and assist friendly nations in their organic aircraft. As such, 6th SOS Air Commandos operate aircraft commonly found in foreign air forces.
