HF civilian IDEAs

Don Savidge (left), 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron Fire and Emergency Services Flight, performs maintenance on a rechargeable fire extinguisher, while Hans Christian, also of the Fire and Emergency Services Flight, performs an inspection on a non-rechargeable extinguisher. They suggested that the Air Force start using only non-rechargeable extinguishers because they don't require maintenance every 6 years like rechargeable ones do. They were two of four civilians to win all of Hurlburt's first quarter IDEA awards. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Angela Shepherd)
