Airmen continue to improve dormitory

KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Master Sgt. Michael Frazier (left), 353rd Maintenance Squadron first sergeant, Senior Airman Brian Schutz (center), 353rd MXS, and Airman 1st Class Joshua Savage, 353rd Operations Support Squadron, hang a flat-screen television on the wall in the third floor dayroom of dormitory 758 here. The dorm residents', who are predominately 353rd Special Operations Group and 18th Medical Group Airmen, won the base's last Dorm of the Quarter Award and the $2,000 that goes along with it. Before winning the competition, the residents were busy with several improvement projects that included the day rooms on the first three floors, and are in the process of renovating the fourth floor dayroom.
