Lt. Gen. Donny Wurster, Air Force Special Operations Command commander, presents the AFSOC Squadron of the Year award to Lt. Col. Jerry “J” Haynes, 319th Special Operations Squadron commander, May 15. The 319th SOS was selected as the winner for many reasons, among them was the fact that although it is the 1st Special Operations Wing's smallest flying squadron, it accounted for 60 percent of the wing's flying hours in 2007.
