SOG Airmen train with Marines
KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Senior Airman Jerred Sevold, a loadmaster with the 1st Special Operations Squadron, folds a ramp on a MC-130H Combat Talon II after offloading Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Detachment 18 during a training exercise at Ie Shima Island Jan. 14. Crews from the 1st SOS constantly train with U.S. and allied forces to hone their capabilities to infiltrate, exfiltrate and resupply forces in austere, denied or hostile territory.
