KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- An aircrew from the 1st Special Operations Squadron airdrops a Riggable Alternate Method Zodiac, or RAMZ, package consisting of an inflatable zodiac boat and engine, from a MC-130H Combat Talon II here Dec. 2. Pararescuemen and combat controllers from the 320th Special Tactics Squadron, who also jumped from the aircraft, used the RAMZ to search for survivors of a simulated aircraft accident. The event was part of a 353rd Special Operations Group training exercise testing the group?s ability to conduct search and rescue operations from start to finish. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
