KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Master Sgt. Christopher Juarez, 353rd Operations Support Squadron, points to a landmark between waypoints during a basic land navigation course Oct. 24 at a training site near here. Participants learned basic principles of land navigation including map reading, how to use a compass, and pace counting during the training.
