352nd SOG conducts exercise at RAF Fairford
A CV-22 Osprey from the 7th Special Operations Squadron hovers during an exercise at RAF Fairford, England, Dec. 10, 2013. The 352nd Special Operations Group conducted an exercise involving approximately 130 Airmen and six aircraft at RAF Fairford from Dec. 9-12. The CV-22 Osprey is a tiltrotor aircraft that combines the vertical takeoff, hover and vertical landing capabilities of a helicopter with the long range, fuel efficiency and speed characteristics of a turboprop aircraft.
