III MEF band rocks annual Christmas concert

The III Marine Expeditionary Band waits to perform while a narration is read Dec. 9 during a Christmas concert at the Kubasaki High School auditorium on Camp Foster. Service members, families and friends were welcome to join in the fun of the free concert to get in the holiday spirit. The concert was filled with a variety of Christmas songs performed by the jazz ensemble of the III MEF band, known as the “Big Band.” The concert was open to Okinawa community members for an opportunity to share in the traditions of the Christmas season.
