Lt. Gen. Brad Heithold, commander of Air Force Special Operations Command, accepts his Order of the Sword invitation from Chief Master Sgt. Matt Caruso, AFSOC command chief, at Hurlburt Field, Fla., May 2, 2016. The Order of the Sword is the highest award the enlisted corps can bestow upon an officer, draws its heritage from military tradition where non-commissioned officers honor leaders who have made significant contributions to the enlisted corps.
