Operations flight commander

Capt. Kevin W. O'Brien, the operations flight commander of Air Force ROTC Detachment 520, is a Ph.D. candidate in Engineering at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., where he is doing research on using air pressure to morph the shape of aerodynamic wings. O'Brien supervises the cadet wing at Cornell in the conduct of Leadership Laboratory activities, teaches aerospace studies and leadership courses and manages programs to identify, attract, and retain cadets for the Air Force ROTC program.
