24th SOW dedicates building to MOH recipient Master Sgt. Chapman
Members of U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. John A. Chapman’s family sit in the audience during the 24th Special Operations Wing Headquarters building dedication ceremony at Hurlburt Field, Florida, Oct. 25, 2018. Chapman, a Special Tactics combat controller, was killed in action on March 4, 2002 and posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor on August 22, 2018 at a ceremony in Washington, D.C.
