U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Jim Slife, commander of Air Force Special Operations Command, observes an AFSOC Spark Tank presentation at Hurlburt Field, Florida, Oct. 17, 2019. The Spark Tank competition is a Secretary of the Air Force initiative to encourage Airmen to generate innovative ideas to improve current Air Force processes, resources, and time-saving techniques. Slife observed AFSOC’s top five innovative ideas and picked two for competition at the Headquarters Air Force level Spark Tank competition.
