CSAF Gen. David L. Goldfein visits 137th Special Operations Wing
Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein stands in a haze of smoke as he listens alongside Maj. Morgan, training and innovation special projects officer for the 137th Special Operations Group, to a presentation on the base’s C-130 Hercules fuselage trainer by Maj. Jefferey Carlson, senior flight nurse examiner for the 137th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, during a base tour on June 8, 2020, at Will Rogers Air National Guard Base in Oklahoma City. The fuselage trainer is fully certified by the Air Mobility Command and can simulate any scenario that would happen on the aircraft in flight, including fire and smoke and a high-fidelity sound system to simulate rapid decompression.
