A U.S. Airman from the 24th Special Operations Wing wears the exercise patch of Ángel de los Andes Cooperación VII Sept. 2, 2021, in Rionegro, Colombia. This is the third Colombian Air Force led Ángel de los Andes exercise since 2015. Ángel de los Andes is a Search & Rescue (SAR) exercise, while Cooperación VII is a multinational Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Response (HA/DR) exercise. The Colombian Air Force volunteered to host the System of Cooperation Among the American Air Forces (SICOFAA per its Spanish acronym) Cooperación VII via integrating it into Ángel de los Andes 2021.
